Conservatory Training for the Serious Actor
Great acting cannot be developed through talent alone.
It requires discipline. Curiosity. Imagination. Emotional courage. Technical mastery. Above all, it requires a structured process that develops every dimension of the actor's instrument.
At Maggie Flanigan Studio, our curriculum is intentionally designed to build truthful actors from the ground up. Every class serves a specific purpose, and every discipline supports the others. Rather than offering isolated workshops, we provide an integrated conservatory education that develops the complete artist.
Whether you are pursuing theatre, film, or television, the goal remains the same: to cultivate an actor capable of creating truthful, compelling human behavior under any circumstance.
Developing the Complete Actor
Professional actors do far more than memorize lines.
They listen deeply. They imagine vividly. They move freely. They speak with clarity. They collaborate generously. They understand dramatic literature. They analyze scripts. They create character. They possess the discipline to repeat truthful work night after night.
Every class at Maggie Flanigan Studio exists to develop one of these essential artistic capacities. Together, they create an actor prepared not simply for auditions, but for a lifetime of creative work.

More Than Technique
Technique alone does not create great actors. Great actors possess curiosity, empathy, imagination, discipline, and a profound understanding of human behavior.
Our curriculum challenges students not only to become stronger performers, but to become thoughtful artists capable of meaningful collaboration and truthful storytelling.
Every class contributes to that larger purpose.

The Maggie Flanigan Difference
The classes at Maggie Flanigan Studio are not a collection of unrelated offerings. They are a carefully designed progression.
Acting develops truthful behavior.
