Meisner Acting – Why Reading Great Literature is a Must
Aspiring actors, especially those taking acting classes and studying the Meisner technique, are never NOT working. The Meisner actor is constantly studying not only scripts and the work they have been given in their acting classes, they are also out studying human nature. They know that the deeper their understanding of what makes people tick, the greater their potential as an actor will be. One thing that seems to be missing in many actors’ pool of knowledge is great literature. It’s often not discussed in acting classes either, which is a shame.
The Maggie Flanigan Studio is the best acting studio in NYC for serious actors. To learn more about the two year acting program you can visit the studio website or call the studio at (917) 789-1599.
